What is GoAP?
The Glocalization Organization of Asia Pacific (GoAP) is a global industry and trade association that focuses on the globalization efforts of companies and localization industries in Asia, Oceania, and countries in the entire Asia-Pacific region. It is seeking to promote and foster the development of globalization and localization technologies in Asia, Oceania, and the Asia-Pacific region.
This year’s conference with be held of course virtually and will last 2 days.
The conference’s theme this year is: The Return of the Machines—How AI, Machine Learning, Big Data, Blockchain, and Automation Help Us in Globalization and Localization
GoAP 2021 is about embracing the role of machines in localization and globalization—and in fact, in our lives. Thus, we seek to explore how embracing machines can reshape our globalization efforts and localization techniques.
- What are the practical, business applications for artificial intelligence in localization?
- What are the techniques and best practices for handling Asian languages with machine translation?
- What situations and contexts do customers in various industries use AI-assisted interpretation to solve their business problems?
Important personalities across the globe, leaders in AI and machine translation will participate as speakers of the conference, and our own Chrysostomos Psaroudakis will give a speech in the second day of the conference, regarding confidentiality in work environments.
